The dizzying increase in the population, which will generate a great demand for housing, infrastructure and services for citizens, represents the main driver of growth and the huge investments planned by the Government aim precisely to support a demand that will be unprecedented in the years to come (only in the 2014 Budget approximately 60 billion Euros were allocated by the Government for infrastructural projects which led to the construction or modernization of schools, hospitals, railway lines, ports, airports and residential buildings).

Opportunities are therefore registered in all sectors linked to the construction market. These include: building materials (especially ceramics), water treatment, electricity, lighting and machinery (especially earthmoving machinery).
