A new successful project for Octagona on the Indian market. The company, point of reference at national level in the internationalization sector (already accredited supplier for the Ministry of Economic Development, for the Emilia-Romagna Region and for the Lombardy Region) and present in India for 15 years with head offices in New Delhi and Bangalore and related offices in major Indian cities, finalized the creation of Coveme India Engineered Films Pvt. Ltd., group company Comeme.
Comeme, industry leader in the production and marketing of plastic and electrical insulating films and in the transformation of polyester films, therefore makes its entry into an important market such as the Indian one ed expand its commercial network, confirming its strong international vocation: in fact, Coveme, already present in 64 countries, can count on two production plants in Italy and in China (in Gorizia and Zhangjiagang), a sales office in Shanghai, eleven production lines and 2 Research & Development laboratories.
It's about a particularly strategic and forward-looking decision, in a particularly complex but also challenging context such as the current one for Italian companies, which increasingly need to expand their borders and open up to the new business opportunities offered by international markets. Today, India represents one of the most ambitious markets in the entire world panorama and future forecasts indicate exponential growth for the Subcontinent, highlighted by analysts from all over the world; moreover, according to some estimates, it will be its own India the country that in the coming years will record the fastest growth globally in PV.
And it's just in aperspective of strengthening its internationalization activities that Coveme has decided to undertake this new initiative, with the aim of consolidate its presence in the entire Asian market and assist and support its customers in an even more punctual and constant manner.
