Graduated in Management Engineering at the University of Bologna, obtained a Diploma in Business Administration at Berkeley University, California (USA) and worked as Researcher in Manufacturing Engineering at the University of Nottingham, since 2014 he has been Chief Executive Officer of Bonfiglioli Consulting, and founder of the Lean Factory School®. He held important roles and responsibilities in Confindustria. Author of 3 books and expert on Lean Thinking and Lean World Class® topics particularly in the automotive, industrial goods, electronics and pharmaceutical sectors. He has organized important international benchmarking studies and is recognized as an international speaker on Operational Excellence topics.
Alessandro Fichera
Graduated from the University of Wales (UK) in European Business Management, specialization course in International Marketing at the IFOA in Reggio Emilia. From 2000 to 2002 marketing consultant for important Italian organizations such as ISMEA and ISTAT. For the following two years, Group Marketing Manager for an important Modenese Group, a manufacturer of metalworking machines, with business development activities in foreign markets. Chief Executive Officer of Octagona with broad expertise in the field of internationalization and specialization in the mechanical, food, fashion and retail sectors. He has hundreds of successful projects in over 40 countries for Italian SMEs. He is also a trainer for ICE, CIS and other training institutions with a strong international vocation. Alessandro lived in England, Ireland, France and India for many years, so much so that Milano Finanza included him among the 100 most influential people to do business in India.
