United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Saudi Arabia: focus on the residential, construction and food & beverage sectors

Thursday 10 November, starting at 9.00, Confindustria Ancona organizes, in collaboration with Octagona, a consultancy firm for export and internationalisation, a individual and personalized meeting session with TEM Elena Azzoni, Octagona Associate Consultant for the Gulf area.

Elena has been resident in Dubai for over 10 years, has in-depth knowledge of the internal dynamics of the Gulf countries and has gained significant experience, first as an export manager for Italian companies and then as an export consultant, especially in the sector furniture (in all its forms), complements, building materials, cosmetic products and food & beverage.

United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Qatar these are countries that offer interesting commercial development opportunities in the sectors indicated above.

The United Arab Emirates, in particular, represent one of the most important and dynamic economies of the MENA area. The per capita income is among the highest in the world and allows for particularly high living standards to be maintained. The UAE population therefore represents a privileged target for the “premium” and luxury sectors. All the components of home and office furnishings are naturally Made in Italy products that are well known and appreciated by the local market, stimulated by large investments in public and private construction planned for the next few years.

Equally interesting is the situation in Saudi Arabia where, in the wake of the infrastructural and urban planning investments in progress, also in order to implement the giga-projects of Vision 2030 and due to the constant growth rate of the population, a significant increase in items relating to the construction sector can be expected over the next few years (building materials, lifting machinery, marble, ceramics) and design (furniture, accessories, etc.). Also in this market, the appreciation for the high quality of Italian productions and for Made in Italy luxury products is very high.

Many similar market dynamics are also recorded in Qatar. The World Cup starting in November has generated billions of investments in the building / infrastructure / construction sector which will continue with the projects included in the National Vision 2030 plan.

Companies that want to deal with the professional and receive information and strategic suggestions to develop your business in the Gulf markets, are invited to contact our offices (Umberto Martelli[email protected], 071 29048222) for book an appointment.

Naturally, both companies that do not currently export to the Gulf countries and those that already export and wish to strengthen their commercial presence can participate.

One-on-one meetings are FREE and they have one duration of 45 minutes each
