South Korea: opportunities for Italian companies

• Thanks to a large network of Free Trade Agreements designed to promote international trade, South Korea has confirmed itself in recent years as an increasingly important partner for Italy; 
• It is a country that is experiencing an important phase of economic growth in all economic macro-sectors, and in particular in food & beverage, machinery for the agro-industry, furniture and home furnishings;
• The 51.56 million inhabitants have reached a per capita income that rose from $79 in the 1960s to over $32,661 in 2022 (above the EU average). GDP growth remains robust when compared to that of the Eurozone or that of countries with similar levels of socio-economic development.

 

To learn more about the opportunities offered by the Korean market, Confindustria Mantova has activated a collaboration with Octagona, a consultancy company specialized in supporting companies for expansion on foreign markets.
