India Educational & Business Program: the ICE-Agency project to do business in the Indian market

L’India è oggi oggi uno dei mercati extra europei con maggiori possibilità di business per le imprese italiane: the Subcontinent is going through an extraordinary phase of economic development and the reform program implemented by New Delhi to attract foreign investments represents a formidable development driver. The opportunità di business are present in different sectors: among these, the agro-industrial sector and food processing, sul quale il Governo locale sta investendo molte risorse al fine di elevare la produttività agricola e rafforzare la capacità industriale nella trasformazione e conservazione dei prodotti alimentari.

About that, ICE-Agency, in collaboration with Confindustria Veneto, Confindustria Emilia-Romagna and Lombardy Confindustria ha realizzato il progetto “India – Educational & Business Program, training intended for Italian SMEs in the agro-industrial and food processing sectors, con l’obiettivo di favorire il loro business in India.

The project is divided into three stages: Training and assessments, Business scouting and Incoming of Indian operators in Italy.

As for the first stage of training, articolata in 4 Moduli della durata di 1 giornata ciascuno e che si svolgerà nelle Regioni sopra menzionate, l’ICE ha affidato ad Octagona (among the Italian excellences for the supply of international business services and present in India with 3 direct offices) il secondo modulo “Strumenti di supporto ai processi di internazionalizzazione in India”, che avrà luogo nelle seguenti date:

  • April 16 in Padua (at the headquarters of Assindustria Venetocentro, via EP Masini 2);
  • April 17 in Parma (presso la sede dell’Unione degli Industriali Parmensi, Str. Ponte Caprazucca 6/a);
  • April 18 in Milan (at the Assolombarda headquarters, via Pantano 9).

Il modulo che sarà illustrated by Alessandro Fichera (Managing Partner di Octagona) verterà sui seguenti punti:

  • Forme d’entrata e canali distributivi in India;
  • Promotional and advertising forms;
  • Product registration and labelling;
  • Food Parks  indiani.
