Total E&P Italia has decided, as part of the Sustainable Development Action Plan, to launch a support program for SMEs in the Gregolane concession area.
The Program will be consistent with the economic development policy of the Basilicata Region: it is intended over time to be supported by local partners, allowing a gradual withdrawal of Total from the program. The Project will allow SMEs and entrepreneurs in the area to develop in production sectors not directly related to the core business
The project is implemented by Octagona and consists of the preparation, implementation and monitoring of an export mission in one or more European countries. Furthermore, another key point of the project is the training of the companies participating in the project, regarding the methodological approach of foreign markets, through the presentation of best practices, guidelines and general indications for a successful export plan.
Internationalization is a fundamental step to remain competitive and increase your company's profits. Through the Lucanica 2.0 Project, participating companies will have the opportunity to learn the steps necessary for a successful export plan: the Program can be "replicated" independently for companies. In the final phases of the Project, Octagona and Total Energies will show how to start the activities implemented up to then, so that the participating companies will be able to manage the contacts acquired in complete autonomy and start conversations with new potential foreign customers.
13 companies have been identified that will participate in "Lucanica 2.0", the TotalEnergies project to encourage the internationalization of their products.
Accompanying the companies will be Octagona: Alessandro Fichera and Brando Bruschi, Managing Director and Project Manager respectively, will illustrate the crucial steps and best practices for successful expansion abroad.
“The meeting – highlighted Ambrogio Laginestra, responsible for relations with the territory of TotalEnergies Ep Italia – will mark the beginning of the project activities and will also be an opportunity to learn about the history of each company reality. On this occasion, the opportunities that some foreign markets can offer will be presented, the subsequent operational phases that will be undertaken and the best practices for a successful export activity, in order to materialize the Company's will and commitment to the valorization of the territory Lucano and its riches"
The training activities for the companies participating in the Project will take place over two days of meetings (one online and one in person), during which the guidelines and key indications for a correct approach to foreign markets were presented.
The objective of these activities is to, once the Lucanica 2.0 Project has been concluded, allow companies to replicate the processes learned with participation to replicate the phases of searching for counterparties, commercial contact and maintaining relationships on the markets international.
These guidelines concerned the following aspects:
– Best practices for exports: the Unique Selling Proposition;
– The company's Value Proposition;
– Communication aspects: company brochure
– Strategic choice of target markets;
– The search for target counterparts.
