L'Italy And uno dei partner commerciali dell’India più importanti all’interno dell’Unione Europea ed i relations between the two countries are finally get better following a difficult transition phase: today Rome and New Delhi are building a new relationship based on political, economic and scientific cooperation.
Oggi l’Italia rappresenta il quinto partner commerciale europeo dell’India: l’interscambio tra i due Paesi ha raggiunto la cifra di 8.5 billion euros in 2017 (5 di esportazioni dall’India e 3.5 di importazioni dall’Italia); in considerazione delle affinità culturali, also in terms of business, and a similar industrial fabric, India and Italy can still do a lot to strengthen their partnership. L’Italia può rappresentare per le imprese indiane la vera e propria porta d’ingresso in un mercato di grandissima rilevanza a livello mondiale come quello dell’European Union, in cui vi sono più di 500 milioni di consumatori.
