L'Italy And one of India's most important trading partners within the European Union and i relations between the two countries are finally get better following a difficult transition phase: today Rome and New Delhi are building a new relationship based on political, economic and scientific cooperation.
Today Italy represents the India's fifth largest European trading partner: trade between the two countries has reached the figure of 8.5 billion euros in 2017 (5 of exports from India and 3.5 of imports from Italy); in consideration of cultural affinities, also in terms of business, and a similar industrial fabric, India and Italy can still do a lot to strengthen their partnership.
