There Lazio region, in order to promote the internationalization processes and the competitiveness of local micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, has published a tender which provides for a financial allocation of 5 million Euros. This initiative intends to respond to the needs of Lazio companies to start and develop activities to expand their business abroad, in order to remain competitive on international markets.
The objective of the call is to encourage the participation of SMEs of the Lazio Region in aggregate form (at least 3 independent SMEs, in the form of ATI, ATS, business networks and possibly also in the form of formally constituted consortia) in joint internationalization initiatives which include promotional activities at trade fairs, commercial and industrial cooperation and support for the quality of Lazio exports.
The projects must foresee a minimum expenditure of 50,000 Euros and the subsidy consists of a non-repayable grant equal to 50% of the total cost of the project deemed eligible, up to a maximum of 250,000 Euros per project, which can be raised to 350,000 Euros if the aggregation presents a project proposal involving at least 25 companies.
Applications can be submitted from 16 September to 31 October 2014.
