ICE relied on Octagona for teaching on the preparation of a Business Plan

Starting internationalization and export activities abroad is becoming increasingly important, for this you need a business plan. In the current economic environment, theMade in Italy exports are going through a decidedly positive phase and the hunger for Italian products is growing in the world: precisely for this reason companies need to sell abroad and to find new formulas to be able to activate an export project.

Precisely with the aim of supporting companies in their export processes and accompany companies on a path of managerial growth, L'ICE extension (Agency for the promotion abroad and the internationalization of Italian companies) has started ICE Export Lab Sardinia, a training course organized in collaboration with the Autonomous Region of Sardinia, intended for a maximum of 50 small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises, consortia, business networks and formally established ATIs. The course, lasting 9 months and held in the Cagliari and Sassari offices, is divided into three phases: classroom training, coaching and incubation abroad.

About that, the ICE has entrusted to Octagona (company that has been operating for about 15 years in theinternationalization, accredited by the Ministry of Economic Development for the provision of Temporary Export Management services in the context of the tender launched by the MISE itself) the teaching moduleBusiness Plan": the lectures were held on 23 and 24 June in Cagliari, at the headquarters of the International Fair of Sardinia - Palazzo dei Congressi (Via Armando Diaz 221).

In particular, the lectures of Alessandro Fichera, Senior Partner of Octagona, covered the following topics:

  • Differences between internationalization and export;
  • The concepts and the value that the company must convey to the customer before building a Business Plan;
  • Market selection: choice of variables and analysis model;
  • The Business Plan: Why is it needed? How to structure it?
  • Starting a practical case.
