The Access India Initiative strategic program is underway to promote the Made in Italy business on the Indian market

Precisely in order to offer a broad overview of relations between Italy and India, provide a series of useful information to do business in the Subcontinent and engage our businesses in a better understanding of opportunities, L'Indian Embassy in Rome and Octagonal they organize, within the Access India Initiative Strategic Program, L'Kick-off event, which will take place on Thursday 12 December in Milan, at the Milanese Philological Circle (Via Clerici 10, Milan) starting at 5pm. The strategic program Access India Initiative (AII) promoted by the same Embassy and for which Octagona was designated as Knowledge Partner, intends to significantly accelerate business and economic-commercial development between Italy and India and is part of the broader national Make in India programme; through the December 12 event, AII will be officially launched and presented, illustrating its characteristics, objectives and methods of implementation and providing companies interested in learning more about it with all the useful tools and indications necessary to evaluate joining the project. The event primarily includes thespeech by the Indian Ambassador in Italy, Reenat Sandhu, which will focus on relations between Italy and India and on the fundamental role played by Milan and the Lombardy Region in relations between the two countries; subsequently, Shyam Chand (Second Secretary of the Indian Embassy in Rome) ed Alexander Fichera (Managing Director of Octagona) will present the AII program, followed by Varda Tanejia (Assistant Vice President of Invest India), who will make his speech on the theme of investment promotion in India. The Keynote Speaker of the event will be Alexander Terzulli (Chief Economist of SACE), which will focus on India's current scenario from an economic point of view, on how the Subcontinent fits today in the global context and on the reasons and advantages for which companies should consider the investment opportunities present. Following is expected to carry out the Panel discussion, which will be moderated by Gianluca DiDonfrancesco (journalist of the Sole24Ore) and will see a comparison between entrepreneurs and managers working with India: during the debate, their experiences, their opinions and their success stories in relation to the local market, its characteristics and its business dynamics will be highlighted.
