The Chamber of Commerce of Modena, in order to promote internationalization processes and the competitiveness of local micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, has published a call for tender which provides for the assignment of non-refundable grants for internationalization initiatives.
Through the disbursement of these contributions, companies will be able to offset part of the expenses incurred for carrying out economic missions abroad, participation in international fairs and exhibitions.
The financial resources made available by the Chamber of Commerce of Modena amount to 500,000 Euros and the companies concerned will be able to request a maximum contribution of 3,500 Euros which will be determined by calculating a percentage of the 50% of the total amount of expenses deemed eligible and against a minimum expenditure by the company equal to 2,000 Euros.
The potential beneficiaries of this initiative are listed below:
micro, small and medium enterprises;
temporary business associations;
cooperatives;
business consortia.
The essential requirement for being able to present the application is that the interested parties have their headquarters and/or operating unit in the province of Modena.
Eligible expenses include:
preliminary check up with a country expert;
interpreting;
organization of B2B meetings;
organization of individual visits;
organization of collective fact-finding visits;
collective catalogue;
pre-fitted space;
shipment of material and samples;
other services strictly connected to the initiative.
Grant applications can be sent from 10 am on Thursday 27 February until 12 noon on Monday 10 March 2014, exclusively electronically, with the digital signature of the company's legal representative, via the Web platform Telemaco – Servizi e- gov – Corporate Grants.
