Octagona My Access: the new Octagona service

With a view to a process of expansion and expansion of its consultancy and commercial activities and greater support to companies wishing to start an internationalization project, Octagona has created a new service: My Access. It is an innovative system for growing Italian companies that want to access new markets and that want to consolidate their business abroad, allowing them to compete on international markets with a local presence.

One of the main problems that companies face in accessing the foreign market is the impossibility of hiring personnel locally and of renting offices or premises, if they do not have a recognized legal structure in the country of destination. Companies that do not have a liaison office, a branch office or a registered company therefore suffer severe operational limitations. Entry into a new country presents problems that are already complex in themselves and the lack of an operational headquarters on site constrains the possibility of action by companies.

For this reason, Octagona has designed a package of services capable of overcoming the problem, aimed at obtaining concrete results on foreign markets. MyAccess is configured as an "all inclusive" service package which guarantees the company access, development and consolidation in a foreign market through its own local resource, keeping development costs under control: it is a of outsourcing at the local headquarters of Octagona consisting in the selection and hiring of the human resources necessary for the company, providing an adequate and equipped office space (pc, telephone, internet, stationery, meeting room, etc.).

My Access is divided into two different phases and types of services: OnSite and MyOffice.

OnSite is constituted as a real structured service aimed at promoting internationalisation, through an operating platform to support the start-up of the company on the foreign market. The client company, once the guidelines and objectives have been defined, completely entrusts Octagona with the assumption and management of the payroll of a resource to whom, at his own expense, he entrusts the task of managing the area in the name and on behalf of the client company.

This involves the hiring of a medium-high managerial level (depending on the customer's needs), with sufficient experience in the specific sector, who will become the reference element of the company in terms of operational management on the market, will operate in assigned local context and will report not only to the company contact person but also to the operational manager of Octagona. This inclusion in the workforce is carried out on the basis of precise indications from the company.

Octagona will take care of hiring the resource for a minimum period of 12 months, managing all issues relating to contracts, contributions and insurance. The resource's out-of-pocket expenses will be advanced by Octagona and invoiced to the client afterwards.

MyOffice represents the most modern response to commercial development needs on the foreign market, compatibly with cost control in the start-up phase. It takes the form of a series of tools and executive spaces made available on an ongoing basis: through this service, the company will be able to take advantage of a work area suited to its collaborator, maintaining control over his work and channeling in the most correct and appropriate meetings and materials.

The service provides for the supply of the following activities: reception and waiting area, workstation, stationery, receipt and management of documentation, selection of the main local newspapers and magazines, beverage service, network laser printer, connection to the local network, Internet connection, telephone line and fax line. In addition, the office manager, together with the Senior Partner in charge, will monitor the functioning of the resources within the office.

The My Access service is therefore able to guarantee the company a direct presence in the area with limited investments, representing the ideal solution for SMEs that have to face new markets.
