There Chamber of Commerce of Reggio Emilia has opened a new tender for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises with registered offices and/or operating units in the province of Reggio Emilia, in order to finance the acquisition of services that favor the start-up and development of international trade, also through the use of digital technologies.

The announcement provides for one allocation of 500,000 euros and the subsidies are non-repayable up to a maximum of 14,000 euros, with an additional bonus of 250 euros relating to the legality rating. Applications can be submitted from 10:00 on 14 March 2023 by 16:00 on 27 July 2023.

Who is the Reggio Emilia Chamber of Commerce internationalization call for?

The companies that will be able to benefit from the concessions are those with registered offices and/or operating units in the province of Reggio Emilia and which have eligible expenses net of VAT and other taxes, duties and fees. Eligible expenses include consultancy services and/or provision of services relating to one or more areas of activity in support of international trade, membership fees for the various services of digital platforms for business meetings and the creation of exhibition spaces for face-to-face or virtual fairs.

Eligible expenses and envisaged concession

The concessions will be assigned for the following areas of activity:

1. Development of internal skills through the use of MET in the company; DEM and EXIM Manager (maximum contribution 14,000.00 euros);
2. Realization of “virtual matchmaking”, or the development of individual or collective paths of virtual B2B business meetings between international buyers and national operators, also in preparation for any future incoming and outgoing activity (maximum contribution 6,000.00 euros);
3. Participation in virtual fairs (maximum contribution 6,000.00 euros) and, where possible, the participation in presence at international fairs organized abroad (maximum fee 8,000.00 euros) or in Italy (maximum fee 6,000.00 euros) as long as with certified international qualification.

The minimum investment deemed eligible for the subsidy cannot be less than 3,000 euros.
