To boost your Digital Export, Invitalia has reopened the questions for the Digital Export Bonus 2022. The bonus is a measure that encourages the export and internationalization activity of micro manufacturing companies.

Digital Export Bonus 2022: who can access?

 

They can access the Digital Export Bonus le micro manufacturing enterprises, the business networks (min. 5 adhering micro-enterprises) ei consortia (min. 5 participating micro-enterprises).

Furthermore, to benefit from the measure, subjects must possess the following requirements:

  • fewer than 10 employees and annual turnover or balance sheet total not exceeding €2 million;
  • have started invoicing for commercial products for at least one year;
  • registered office in Italy or operational headquarters and production plant in Italy;
  • be active and registered in the Company Register
  • with regular DURC

Eligible activities and expenses

 

The contribution covers export and internationalization activities through the use of digital solutions for export, whose suppliers must be registered in a specific list.

Expenses related to:

  • creation of e-commerce systems abroad, sites and/or mobile apps, including any investments aimed at guaranteeing synchronization with international marketplaces provided by third parties;
  • creation of e-commerce systems that provide for the automation of transfer operations, updating and management of articles to and from the web as well as the connection between the operational functions of the chosen digital sales channel and its Customer Relationship management - CRM systems (e.g. API systems);
  • creation of ancillary services for e-commerce such as those of smart payment, preparation of product portfolios, translations, photo shoots, video making, web design and content strategy;
  • creation of a communication strategy, information and promotion for the digital export channel, with specific reference to the product portfolio, foreign markets and chosen online sales sites;
  • digital marketing aimed at developing internationalization activities: digital promotion campaigns, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), backlink and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) costs, content marketing campaigns, inbound marketing, couponing and costs for strengthening presence on channels social; lead generation and lead nurturing expenses;
  • CMS services (Content Management System): restyling of websites whether graphic and/or content aimed at increasing presence on foreign markets;
  • registration and/or subscription to SaaS platforms for the management of visibility and content marketing expenses, as tools aimed at promoting the export process;
  • consulting services for the development of organizational processes and human capital aimed at increasing the presence on foreign markets;
  • expenses for upgrading hardware equipment necessary for the development of organizational processes;
  • any other service charges strictly connected with the purposes of this agreement.

Non-repayable contribution and minimum expenditure

 

There minimum spend for micro enterprises must amount to € 5.000, while for networks and consortia € 25.000.

There is a contribution to non-repayable fund equal to €4,000 for micro businesses and €22,500 for networks and consortia.

The useful period has been extended to companies for completing and submitting applications, initially set for 15 July 2022, due to the availability of residual funds.
