Audience for important occasions on Saturday evening at Palazzo Gnudi, to attend the Gandhi concert by the Milon Group: a musical project wanted by Rupa Chakravarti, outstanding singer and wife of Sarvajit Chakravarti, Consul General of India, who spent two days in the city, at the invitation of Roberto Nuti Spa. The company, a leader in the production of shock absorbers for industrial vehicles, launched Sabo Hema Automotive a few weeks ago, a joint venture in Gurgaon, near New Delhi.
Octagona and Scouting India have collaborated together with Roberto Nuti Spa for the success of this event.
The concert for Gandhi opened with an aperitif followed by a buffet enriched by a proposal of flavors dedicated to the tradition of India, prepared for the occasion by an Indian gourmet. The concert, full of atmospheres, made even more engaging by the play of lights in the frescoed vaults of the hall of mirrors of Palazzo Gnudi, began promptly at 9 pm. The numerous and attentive public followed the show for over an hour, entitled "Mahatma Gandhi, a musical odyssey", supplemented by projections on the background of the stage.
Milon means "meeting or union" and the confluence of different musical styles that has distinguished this highly acclaimed ensemble has confirmed how, through artistic sensibility, it is possible to break down every typically Western bond that cages music within defined and limited patterns and genres . The encounter between western and eastern scales, between the tablas cycles and western measures, gave life to a magical evening, truly full of atmosphere, to which the contagious serenity of the musicians certainly contributed.
