Temporary Export Manager: how to finance it with the Pact for Export

With the acronym time means a specific professional figure
which takes the name of ''Temporary Export Manager''.

But what is a Tem and what does it do?
In summary, this type of resource is a sales professional, usually with a lot of expertise behind them,
trained specifically on a certain sector, which is entrusted by the company when it wants to sell on foreign territory, without using directly hired resources.

Within the new ''Export Pact'' drawn up by the Italian Government on 8 June 2020 grants are foreseen to support TEM initiatives, for the relaunch of "Made in Italy" exports in the post-health emergency phase, through the strengthening of the tools to support internationalization (mentioned in point 3).

EXPORT PACT

The Export Plan to relaunch Made in Italy in the world has given rise to a series of economic recovery initiatives with the aim of:

– Incentivize companies, especially SMEs, to implement targeted expansion plans through the support of specialized professionals
– Increase the competitiveness of the Italian system on the global market

This group of economic initiatives has been christened “Pact for Export” and its main points are:

Integrated Promotion

The total resources available for economic recovery initiatives amount to approx 1.4 billion euros of which:

82 million euros for the integrated promotion and communication activities envisaged by the “Cura Italia” Decree Law;
of which 30 million made available on a new call for Temporary Export Managers and Digital Export Managers edited by MAECI and Invitalia.
