India<\/b>\u00a0issued the new\u00a0OMNIBUS Technical Regulation (OTR),<\/b>\u00a0legislation that marks a\u00a0significant change in the regulatory framework for placing industrial machinery and equipment on the market, which will come into effect from August 28, 2025.<\/b><\/p>\n

In particular, we are referring to Annex 1 of the measure, which contains the list of customs codes for the machinery involved: the whole world of machine tools is involved, as well as packaging machinery and machinery for rubber and plastics, ceramics and marble, construction and earthmoving machinery, and many other sectors, as well as a lot of other equipment, including equipment that is normally fitted to machinery.<\/p>\n

This webinar, reserved for member companies of one of Federmacchine's member associations, is designed to provide a\u00a0clear and up-to-date overview<\/b>\u00a0of the provisions contained in OTR 2024, with a specific focus on the practical implications for European producers and exporters, starting with the\u2019obligation to register<\/b>\u00a0on the dedicated Indian website requesting the issuance of the Bureau Indian Standard (BIS) certificate for all\u00a0the types of machines exported to India<\/b>, appointing in advance a\u00a0individual on site<\/b>\u00a0Who performs the function for the exporting company as an Authorized On-site Representative (AIR).<\/p>\n

We will analyze the technical and documentary obligations required<\/b>, i r<\/strong>isks related to non-compliance<\/b>\u00a0and the\u00a0strategies\u00a0<\/b>To effectively adapt to the new regulatory environment.<\/p>\n
