To relaunch Italian exports and support the digital transition of Italian SMEs, Invitalia has allocated 50 million euros in non-repayable funds through the 2021 Internationalization Voucher. As part of the Export Pact presented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in June 2020, the call for proposals is aimed at micro and small businesses that want to expand abroad and finances the costs for the temporary placement within the company of a Temporary Export Manager (TEM) with digital skills.<\/p>\n

The 2021 Internationalization Voucher is aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to help them internationalize their business activities.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The call is intended for small manufacturing companies (Ateco code C) with fewer than 50 employees, legally based in Italy. Networks of micro and small enterprises are also eligible.<\/p>\n

How does it work?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Starting March 9 and ending March 22, micro and small enterprises (MPIs) can book the Voucher. Applications must be mailed from March 25 and by April 15 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., excluding holidays and pre-holidays. Applications are evaluated in chronological order of arrival.<\/p>\n

From March 27, 10:00 AM, a second time window will also be opened until April 15, 2021, 5:00 PM, during which the platform will be reopened to fill out and prepare the application.<\/p>\n

What does it fund?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Voucher covers expenses for consulting contracts with TEMs recognized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the dedicated list, for a minimum duration of one year. In the case of networks, the contract has a minimum duration of 24 months. Furthermore, the funding is intended for consultations that include the following activities:<\/p>\n

– analisi e ricerche sui mercati;
\n– individuazione e acquisizione di nuovi clienti;
\n– assistenza nella contrattualistica per l\u2019internazionalizzazione;
\n– incremento della presenza nelle piattaforme di e-commerce;
\n– integrazione dei canali di marketing online;
\n– gestione evoluta dei flussi logistici.<\/p>\n

How much is the contribution?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Il contributo, concesso in regime “de minimis”, ammonta a:<\/p>\n

– 20.000 euro per le micro e piccole imprese a fronte di un contratto di consulenza di importo non inferiore, al netto dell\u2019Iva, a 30.000 euro;
\n– 40.000 euro per le reti di impresa a fronte di un contratto di consulenza di importo non inferiore, al netto dell\u2019Iva, a 60.000 euro.<\/p>\n

Additionally, you can receive an extra contribution of \u20ac10,000 if you achieve the following results in export sales volumes:<\/p>\n

– incremento di almeno il 15% del volume d\u2019affari derivante da operazioni verso Paesi esteri registrato nell\u2019esercizio 2022, rispetto allo stesso volume d\u2019affari registrato nell\u2019esercizio 2021;
\n– incidenza – nell\u2019esercizio 2022 – almeno pari al 6% del volume d\u2019affari derivante da operazioni verso Paesi esteri sul totale del volume d\u2019affari.<\/p>\n
