Compulsory 'BIS' certification to enter the Indian market remains a current and impactful topic for companies active in that market.

India has in fact issued the new Omnibus Technical Regulation (OTR)legislation that marks a significant change in the regulatory framework for placing machinery and equipment on the market.

As such, Confindustria Udinein collaboration with Octagona, is organising a special webinar, free of charge and reserved to member companies; it will be held in Italian and aims to provide a clear and up-to-date overview of India's 'BIS' provisions, with a specific focus on the practical implications for European producers and exporters, starting with the obligation to register on the dedicated Indian website requesting the issue of the 'BIS' certificate (Bureau Indian Standard) for all types of products exported to India, appointing in advance a natural person on site to perform the function for the exporting company of On-site Authorised Representative (AIR).
