Indeed, India has enacted the new Omnibus Technical Regulation (OTR), a piece of legislation that marks a significant change in the regulatory framework for placing machinery and equipment on the market.

As such, Confindustria Udine, in collaboration with Octagona, is organizing a special webinar, with free participation and reserved for member companies; it will be held in Italian and aims to provide a clear and up-to-date overview of the “BIS” India provisions, with a specific focus on the practical implications for European producers and exporters, starting with the obligation to register on the dedicated Indian site by requesting the issuance of the “BIS” certificate (Bureau Indian Standard) for all types of products exported to India by appointing in advance an individual on-site to perform the function for the exporting company of Authorized On-site Representative (AIR).
