The Gruppo Giovani Imprenditori di Confindustria Veneto is aassociative reality that groups companies and entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 40 in the Veneto region. The group requested Octagona's support in organizing a business mission to India with the objective of:

Understand the business opportunities present;
Facilitate business and institutional relations between member companies and Indian companies;
Growing the business of member companies.

Strategy and action

Octagona, with the support of Octagona India, supported the client in the preparation, organization, and management of the mission:

identifying, selecting andcontacting potential Indian companies interested in member companies' products;
taking care of the accompanying action of member companies in India;
organizing meetings with Indian companies willing to meet with member companies;
organizing b>business visits to major companies already operating in India, such as CNH India and Rilievi India;
organizing institutional meetings at the Italian Embassy in New Delhi and at the Italian Consulate General in Mumbai;
Organizing visits to stores and shopping centers;
producing fact sheets for each individual company met to understand the real business opportunities;
guiding the client in understanding the business opportunities present in India.

The results obtained

During the Business Mission, which took place in the cities of New Delhi, Pune and Mumbai, Octagona was able to:

collect a large amount of precious information, useful for understanding what business spaces are present;
conduct askimming between potential partner companies and non-target companies;
Identify a elevated number of companies interested in evaluating partnership opportunities;
sign commercial contracts as a result of the mission.
