La Reggio Emilia Chamber of Commerce has opened a new call for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises with registered office and/or operating unit in the province of Reggio Emilia, in order to finance the acquisition of services that promote the start-up and development of international trade, including through the use of digital technologies.

The announcement includes a allocation of 500,000 euros and the Facilities are non-repayable up to a maximum of 14,000 euros, with an additional 250 euro bonus related to the legality rating. Applications may be submitted From 10:00 a.m. on March 14, 2023 by 4:00 p.m. on July 27, 2023.

Businesses eligible for the facilities are those with registered offices and/or business units in the province of Reggio Emilia and with eligible expenses net of VAT and other taxes, fees and duties. Eligible expenses include consultancy services and/or provision of services related to one or more areas of business in support of international trade, membership fees for the various services of digital platforms for business meetings, and the creation of exhibition space for in-person or virtual fairs.

Eligible expenses and expected facilitation

Facilities will be awarded for the following areas of activity:

1. Internal skills development through The use in the enterprise of TEM; DEM and EXIM Manager (maximum contribution 14,000.00 euros);
2. Implementation of “virtual matchmaking”, or the development of individual or collective paths of virtual B2B business meetings between international buyers and domestic operators, also in preparation for possible future incoming and outgoing activities (maximum contribution 6,000.00 euros);
3. Virtual trade show participations (maximum contribution 6,000.00 euros) and, where possible, the Participation in attendance at international trade fairs organized abroad (maximum contribution 8,000.00 euros) or in Italy (maximum contribution 6,000.00 euros) provided they have certified international qualification.

The minimum investment deemed eligible for subsidy May not be less than 3,000 euros.
