Digital Export Bonus 2022: who is eligible?
The following are eligible for the Digital Export Bonus micro manufacturing enterprises, the business networks (min. 5 participating micro enterprises) and the consortia (min. 5 participating micro enterprises).
In addition, to qualify for the measure, individuals must possess the following requirements:
- less than 10 employees and annual or total budget turnover not exceeding € 2 mln;
- Have started commercial product billing for at least one year;
- Registered office in Italy or operational headquarters and manufacturing plant in Italy;
- Be active and registered in the Register of Enterprises
- with regular DURC
Eligible activities and expenses
The grant covers export and internationalization activities through the use of digital solutions for export, whose suppliers must be registered within special list.
Expenditures related to:

implementation of e-commerce systems to foreign countries, sites and/or mobile apps, including any investments to ensure synchronization with international marketplaces provided by third parties;

Implementation of e-commerce systems involving the automation of transfer operations, updating and management of items to and from the Web as well as the link between the operational features of the chosen digital sales channel and its own Customer Relationship management - CRM systems (e.g., API systems);

realization of e-commerce ancillary services such as those of smart payment, product portfolio preparation, translation, photo shooting, video making, web design and content strategy;
-
implementation of a communication strategy, information and promotion for the digital export channel, with specific reference to the product portfolio, foreign markets and chosen online sales sites;

digital marketing aimed at developing internationalization activities: digital promotion campaigns, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), backlink and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) costs, content marketing campaigns, inbound marketing, couponing and costs for strengthening presence on social channels; lead generation and lead nurturing expenses;

CMS services (Content Management System): restyling of websites whether graphic and/or content aimed at increasing presence in foreign markets;

membership and/or subscription to SaaS platforms for visibility management and content marketing expenses, as tools to foster the export process;

consulting services for the development of organizational and human capital processes aimed at increasing presence in foreign markets;

Expenses for upgrading hardware equipment necessary for the development of organizational processes;
-
any other expenses for services Closely related to the purposes of this agreement.
Non-repayable grant and minimum expenditure
La minimum expenditure for the micro enterprises must amount to € 5.000, while for networks and consortia € 25.000.
A contribution is made to non-repayable fund of € 4,000 for micro enterprises and € 22,500 for networks and consortia.
The useful period has been extended to businesses to compile and submit applications, initially set for July 15, 2022, due to availability of remaining funds.
