Seminar “Italy Business Gateway to Europe”

L’Italy è One of India's most important trading partners within the European Union and the relations between the two countries are finally improved following an uneasy transition phase: today Rome and New Delhi are building a new relationship based on political, economic and scientific cooperation.

Today, Italy represents the India's fifth largest European trading partner: the interchange between the two countries reached the figure of 8.5 billion euros in 2017 (5 of exports from India and 3.5 of imports from Italy); in view of the cultural affinities, including in the area of business, and a similar industrial fabric, India and Italy can still do much to strengthen their partnership. Italy can represent for Indian companies the real front door in a market as globally significant as the’European Union, in which there are more than 500 million consumers.  

Precisely with the aim of Bringing Indian companies closer to Italy, foster investment and facilitate relations between the two countries, Octagona India (a local law company part of the Octagona Group) that has been operating in the Indian market for 16 years already with 3 offices located throughout the territory (New Delhi, Pune and Bangalore), organizes in collaboration with ICE and the Pune Chamber of Commerce, the seminar “Italy: Business gateway to Europe”, aimed at all Indian entrepreneurs interested in the Italian market. The event will be held on October 12 at the Pune Chamber of Commerce (505 A-Wing, MCCIA Trade Tower, ICC Complex, 403, Senapati Bapat Road), starting at 5:30 p.m.
