How to do business in India in food processing? Octagona talks about it in the workshop organized by UPI

India becomes an increasingly important and more interesting market for made in Italy, especially for some sectors. Among them, that of the food processing: in fact, although India is one of the world's largest producers of vegetables, fruits and milk, it has a low processing and storage capacity for these kinds of products and needs investment to infrastructure related to the cold chain and food processing facilities. For our companies, a world leader in the field, the opportunities to be seized in India are enormous, also considering the strong growth of the local agribusiness market.

In this regard, the’Parmesan Union of Industrialists, in collaboration with the’Embassy of India in Italy, organized a meeting “Opportunities in the Food Processing Sector in India.”, with the aim of Provide member enterprises with useful information to better understand the Indian world and the business opportunities present. The event, which will take place Wednesday, October 4, 2017 in Parma 10 a.m., at the headquarters of the Parmesan Union of Industrialists (Palazzo Soragna, located at Strada al Ponte Caprazucca, 6/A), will feature India's Ambassador to Italy, Reenat Sandhu, and Deputy Ambassador, Gloria Gangte.

Octagona, present in India for as many as 15 years through direct offices (New Delhi, Bangalore and Pune), Will provide input into the event, reflecting the company's role as a point of reference for internationalization processes in the Indian market. Specifically, Alessandro Fichera and Enrico Perego, managing director and senior partner of Octagona, respectively, will carry out their interventions dwelling on the business and investment opportunities for Made in Italy and on the’Evolution and development of AgroParks in India..
