Last June 8, the Italian government, in order to boost Made in Italy in the world, launched a series of economic revitalization plans with the aim of increasing the competitiveness of the Italian system in the global market, and to incentivize companies, especially SMEs to implement targeted expansion plans through the support of specialized professionals.
This group of economic initiatives has been christened Export Pact and its focal and most important points are: communication, integrated promotion, training and information, e-commerce, exhibition system, and finance.
The total resources available for economic revitalization initiatives amount to about 1.4 Billion Euros, broken down as follows:
- 82 Million Euros For the integrated promotion and communication activities provided for in the Decree-Law “Cure Italy” of which 30 million made available on a new call on Temporary Export Manager and Digital Export Manager by MAECI and Invitalia.
- Up to 200 Billion Euros in Guarantees state available to Italian companies, which can be activated through SACE, to which is added the enhancement of financial support for Export through the insurance of commitments in favor of Italian exporting companies by SACE for 10% and by the Ministry of Economy and Finance on behalf of the State for 90%.
These numbers testify to the government's willingness to boost Made in Italy exports in the post-Covid-19 era.
