Ministry of Agricultural Policies, launched a tender for the internationalization of wineries

Here is the internationalization announcement of the Ministry of Agricultural Policies, or a tender aimed at promoting quality wine producers abroad. Overall, of the 337 million Euros allocated by the Common Market Organization for the wine sector, 102 million were allocated by the same Ministry for promotional activities on foreign markets.

The Ministry will grant a non-refundable grant equal to 50% of eligible expenses: companies, associations and consortia in the sector in question who intend to apply, will be able to deliver it by 2.00 pm on 28 June 2013 (the deadline is brought forward to 21 June 2013 in the case of multi-regional projects). It should be noted that the individual Italian Regions have issued provisions that change the minimum conditions for accessing the subsidy instrument.

The eligible actions to be carried out, in one or more third countries, concern:

• promotion and advertising;
• participation in events, fairs and exhibitions of international importance;
• information and promotion campaigns;
• other communication tools.

Companies will be able to start their internationalization activities towards:

• Non-EU European countries;
• Countries former members of the Soviet Union;
• Balkan countries;
• African countries;
• Latin American and Central American countries;
• Southeast Asian countries;
• Middle Eastern countries;
• United States, Canada, Russia, India, China, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
