Enterprise Networks, a necessary step for SMEs

The growing process of internationalization and strategic localization configures a new way of doing business: it is now an inescapable process that companies must be able to cope with in order to stay abreast of today's changes. Companies must therefore be able to serve and intervene in the new foreign markets that are experiencing significant development in their economies.

When we talk about Business Networks for Internationalization we refer to forms of coordination of a contractual nature between companies: this is an aggregation tool for companies that want to carry out economic activities jointly, and not able to internationalize on their own in foreign markets. The advantages represented by the establishment of Business Networks in favor of internationalization are many: in fact, by stabilizing collaborative relationships, business opportunities increase. Companies, in a market changed by the crisis and the emergence of new powers, must collaborate with each other to remain competitive.

Octagona's assessment of this process is based on a real-world analysis: the Italian market is characterized by a myriad of small-to-medium enterprises with a large production capacity but too small to establish themselves in huge markets such as India and Brazil. Through the establishment of a Business Network, small-medium enterprises can increase their critical mass and have greater strength in the market. Business networks are particularly intended for SMEs without having to merge or unite under the control of a single entity: in fact, it is a necessary and advisable tool for SMEs of the same size. Octagona, thanks to its experience and expertise in business internationalization, is able to provide companies that want to implement this process with all the necessary support and information.
