Abruzzo Region, new tender for the internationalization of business networks

The Abruzzo Region publishes call for internationalization in support of business networks. This is an intervention aimed at encouraging the economic development of Abruzzo and strengthening the local production structure, in order to increase its competitiveness on international markets in the face of the new challenges presented by today's economic dynamics.

All Small and Medium Enterprises, with legal or operational headquarters in Abruzzo, which have set up a network contract, will be able to submit a regular application to access the funds made available by the Region, which amount to 6 million Euros. Specifically, there will be two lines of intervention for this financial endowment:

• Projects relating to the Innovation area, for which 3 million Euros are foreseen;
• Projects concerning the Internationalization area, for which the same amount is foreseen.

The financial facilitation of the Region is equal to 50% of eligible expenses and each individual project cannot exceed the amount of 200,000 Euros. Companies will be able to apply by 31 July 2013 and projects must be completed within eight months of the date of publication of the final ranking.
