UAE, Qatar and Saudi Arabia: focus on residential, construction and food & beverage sectors

Thursday, November 10, starting at 9 a.m., Confindustria Ancona organizes, in collaboration with Octagona, an export and internationalization consulting company, a individual and personalized meeting session with TEM Elena Azzoni, Associate Consultant Octagona for the Gulf area.

Elena has been residing in Dubai for more than 10 years, has an in-depth knowledge of the internal dynamics of the Gulf countries, and has gained significant experience, first as an export manager for Italian companies and then as an export consultant, mainly in the furniture (in all its declinations), interior design, building materials, cosmetic products, and food & beverage.

United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Qatar are countries that offer attractive opportunities for business development in the above areas.

The United Arab Emirates, in particular, represent one of the most important and dynamic economies in the MENA region. Their per capita income is among the highest in the world, allowing them to maintain particularly high standards of living. The Emirati population thus represents a Privileged target for “premium” and luxury sectors. All home and office furniture components are of course Made in Italy products that are well known and appreciated by the local market, stimulated by the large investments in public and private construction planned for the coming years.

Equally interesting is the situation in Saudi Arabia where, in the wake of ongoing infrastructure and urban investment, including for the purpose of implementing the giga-projects of Vision 2030 and as a result of the steady population growth rate, a major increase in construction-related items can be expected in the coming years (building materials, lifting machinery, marble, ceramics) and design (furniture, complements, etc.). Also in this market, the appreciation for the high quality of Italian productions and luxury end products Made in Italy is very high.

Very similar market dynamics can also be seen in Qatar. The World Cup kicking off in November has generated billions in investment in the building/infrastructure/construction sector, which will continue with projects included in the National Vision 2030 plan.

Companies that would like to engage with the professional and receive information and strategic suggestions for developing their business in the Gulf markets, are invited to contact our offices (Umberto Martelli[email protected], 071 29048222) for book an appointment.

Companies that do not currently export to Gulf countries can of course participate, as well as those that already export and wish to strengthen their business presence.

The one-on-one meetings are. FREE and have a duration of 45 minutes each
