Chamber of Commerce of Modena, published call for the internationalization of SMEs

The Modena Chamber of Commerce, in order to promote internationalization processes and the competitiveness of local micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, has published a call for proposals providing for the allocation of non-repayable grants for internationalization initiatives.

Through the provision of such contributions, companies will be able to offset part of the expenses incurred for carrying out economic missions abroad, participation in trade fairs, and international exhibitions.

The Modena Chamber of Commerce has allocated 500,000 euros in funding, and eligible businesses may apply for a grant of up to 3,500 euros. This amount will be calculated as a percentage of the total eligible expenses, provided that the business has incurred a minimum expenditure of 2,000 euros.

The potential beneficiaries of this initiative are listed below:

micro, small and medium-sized enterprises;

temporary business associations;

cooperatives;

business consortia.

The essential requirement for submitting the application is that the interested parties are based and/or have an operational unit in the province of Modena.

Eligible expenses include:

Preliminary check up with country expert;

interpreting;

B2B meeting organization;

Organization of individual visits;

Organizing collective cognitive visits;

collective catalog;

Pre-set-up space;

Shipping material and samples;

other services strictly connected to the initiative.

Contribution applications can be submitted from 10:00 AM on Thursday, February 27th, until 12:00 PM on Monday, March 10th, 2014, exclusively online, with the digital signature of the company's legal representative, through the Telemaco Web platform – e-gov Services – Business Contributions.
