Chamber of Commerce of Modena, published call for the internationalization of SMEs

The Chamber of Commerce of Modena, in order to promote the internationalization processes and competitiveness of local micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, has published a call for proposals in which grants will be awarded for internationalization initiatives.

Through the disbursement of these grants, companies will be able to offset part of the expenses incurred in carrying out economic missions abroad, participation in trade fairs and international exhibitions.

The financial resources made available by the Chamber of Commerce of Modena amount to 500,000 euros and interested companies will be able to apply for a maximum contribution of 3,500 euros, which will be determined by calculating a 50% percentage of the total amount of expenses deemed eligible and against a minimum expenditure by the company of 2,000 euros.

The potential beneficiaries of this initiative are listed below:

micro, small and medium-sized enterprises;

temporary business associations;

cooperatives;

business consortia.

The prerequisite for applying is that interested parties must have headquarters and/or operating unit in the province of Modena.

Eligible expenses include:

Preliminary check up with country expert;

interpreting;

B2B meeting organization;

Organization of individual visits;

Organizing collective cognitive visits;

collective catalog;

Pre-set-up space;

Shipping material and samples;

Other services closely related to the initiative.

Applications for grants can be submitted from 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, until noon Monday, March 10, 2014, exclusively electronically, with a digital signature of the company's legal representative, through the Web platform Telemaco - E-Gov Services - Grants to Businesses.
