India Day: individual consultations to businesses

Confindustria Trento member companies are invited to participate in the’India Day, a Free one-on-one counseling meeting day, organized by Confindustria Trento and Trentino Export in close collaboration with Octagona Srl, in online mode, with 45-minute intervals starting at 9 a.m.

The Indian market proves to be one of the most interesting and promising markets in which to invest:

- India is a politically and socially stable country
- It is one of the fastest growing countries in Asia, with economic growth over the past 20 years of more than 6% annually;
- Italian exports to India are growing in all sectors: for example, in metals there was a +23.6% in 2021, in chemical-pharmaceuticals a +19.2%, and in instrumental mechanics a +11.1%;
- Major infrastructure development policies by the Indian government are underway;

To manage the East Asian markets, the Association has for the past two years activated a collaboration with Octagona Srl, a structure specializing in consulting support to companies for expansion in foreign markets, with consolidated experience particularly in India. Octagona will be able to help Trentino companies to expand their business in India, also thanks to its direct presence in the country with its own offices and specialized local staff.

Companies interested in booking a reserved free individual counseling slot on Nov. 25 from 9 a.m. onward, are invited to complete the attached application form and submit it no later than November 21, 2022, to the Foreign Markets Area of the Association.
