Selling in India: mandatory BIS certification

L’India si sta configurando sempre più come un paese target grazie alla forte espansione del proprio mercato interno e alla posizione geografica che favorisce le relazioni commerciali con altri Paesi dell’area asiatica. Il BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) richiede, per molti prodotti immessi nel mercato, il rispetto della compliance with quality and safety standards stabiliti dall’ente nazionale di certificazione che opera sotto l’autorità del Ministero degli Affari dei Consumatori, dell’Alimentazione e della Distribuzione Pubblica dell’India. La certification is mandatory for companies wishing to sell their products in India.
