How to do business in India in food processing? Octagona talks about it in the workshop organized by UPI

L’India diventa un mercato sempre più importante e più interessante per il made in Italy, especially for some sectors. Among them, that of the food processing: infatti, nonostante l’India sia uno dei più grandi produttori di verdura, frutta e latte a livello mondiale, dispone di una ridotta capacità di trasformazione e conservazione di questo genere di prodotti e necessita di investimenti alle infrastrutture connesse alla catena del freddo e agli impianti di trasformazione alimentare. For our companies, a world leader in the field, le opportunità da cogliere in India sono enormi, also considering the strong growth of the local agribusiness market.

A tal proposito, l’Parmesan Union of Industrialists, in collaborazione con l’Ambasciata dell’India in Italia, organized a meeting “Opportunità nel settore della trasformazione alimentare in India”, with the aim of Provide member enterprises with useful information per comprendere meglio il mondo indiano e le opportunità di business presenti. L’evento, che si svolgerà mercoledì 4 ottobre 2017 a Parma 10 a.m., at the sede dell’Unione Parmense degli Industriali (Palazzo Soragna, situata in Strada al Ponte Caprazucca, 6/A), vedrà la partecipazione dell’Ambasciatrice dell’India in Italia, Reenat Sandhu, e della Vice-Ambasciatrice, Gloria Gangte.

Octagona, present in India for as many as 15 years through direct offices (New Delhi, Bangalore and Pune), Will provide input within the event, reflecting the company's role as a point of reference for internationalization processes in the Indian market. Specifically, Alessandro Fichera and Enrico Perego, managing director and senior partner of Octagona, respectively, will carry out their interventions dwelling on the opportunità commerciali e di investimento per il Made in Italy e sull’Evolution and development of AgroParks in India..
