Emilia Romagna region, new call for internationalization

Here is the internationalization call of the Emilia Romagna region, which has approved a notice supporting the internationalization of SMEs. Through this action, grants will be provided aimed at boosting the promotional programs of export- and internationalization-oriented consortiums and consortium companies formed by small and medium-sized industrial, commercial and craft enterprises. All consortiums with registered offices in Emilia Romagna will be able to apply regularly.

The Emilia Romagna Region's contribution will cover up to 50% of eligible expenses, which must be incurred for promotional projects to be carried out by 2013.The maximum amount that can be granted for each consortium will be determined according to the number of consortium member companies, with the maximum contribution not to exceed 150,000 euros. The value of the amount will be calculated by multiplying the share of 10,000 euros for each consortium enterprise. Consortia can submit their applications by July 1, 2013.

All internationalization programs pertaining to promotional activities and permanent production, trade and technology cooperation activities abroad of consortium enterprises are subject to funding.

Eligible expenses include:

• Trade show participation;
• Promotional expenses;
• Incoming expenses related to hosting foreign operators in Italy;
• Consulting fees;
• Coordination expenses.
