India becomes an increasingly important and more attractive market for Italian companies. With a trade interchange of 7.5 billion euros in 2016, Italy represents India's 5th largest partner among EU countries, with more than 500 enterprises in the country; in this context, Emilia Romagna enterprises play a major role, considering that their exports to the Subcontinent have increased by 42% in the past ten years.

In this regard, Confindustria Emilia-Romagna, in collaboration with BNL BNP Paribas Group e Emilia-Romagna Region, organized the workshop “Business and investment opportunities in India”, with the aim of providing Emilia-Romagna businesses with useful information to Better understand the Indian world and business opportunities present. The meeting, which will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2017 in Bologna at 2:30 p.m., at the headquarters of Confindustria Emilia-Romagna (Via Barberia 13), will see the participation of the Consul General of India in Italy and entrepreneurs and operators interested in business development in the Indian market; it is also a useful opportunity to present companies with a regional inter-associative project dedicated to the Indian market (promoted by the Sistema Confindustria Emilia-Romagna, in collaboration with the Emilia-Romagna Region).
