La Reggio Emilia Chamber of Commerce a new call has been opened for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises with registered office and/or operational unit in the province of Reggio Emilia, in order to finance the acquisition of services that promote the start-up and development of international trade, including through the use of digital technologies.

The announcement includes a allocation of 500,000 euros and the Facilities are non-repayable up to a maximum of 14,000 euros, with a further 250 euro bonus related to the legality rating. Applications may be submitted From 10:00 a.m. on March 14, 2023 by 4:00 p.m. on July 27, 2023.

Companies that can benefit from the incentives are those with their registered office and/or operational unit in the province of Reggio Emilia, and whose eligible expenses are net of VAT and other taxes, duties, and fees. Eligible expenses include consulting services and/or supply of services related to one or more areas of activity in support of international trade, membership fees for various services of digital platforms for business meetings, and the creation of exhibition spaces for in-person or virtual trade fairs.

Eligible expenses and expected facilitation

Facilities will be awarded for the following areas of activity:

1. Internal skills development through The use of TEM, DEM, and EXIM Managers in business (maximum contribution 14,000.00 euros);
2. Virtual matchmaking implementation“, which means the development of individual or collective virtual B2B business meeting paths between international buyers and national operators, also in preparation for any future incoming and outgoing activities (maximum contribution €6,000.00);
3. Virtual trade show participations (maximum contribution 6,000.00 euros) and, where possible, the in-person participation in international trade fairs organized abroad (maximum contribution 8,000.00 euros) or in Italy (maximum contribution 6,000.00 euros) provided they have certified international qualification.

The minimum investment considered eligible for the benefit May not be less than 3,000 euros.
