TOWARDS NEW MARKETS - Action 1.3.1 PR ERDF Lombardy 2021-2027

Objectives of the Call

The measure "Towards New Markets - Action 1.3.1 of the PR ERDF Lombardy 2021-2027 - supports companies that draw up and implement an Action Plan for foreign market entry, through:

• Market analyses and specific studies

• Definition of resources, timing and preparatory activities

• Minimising risks and maximising global opportunities

Beneficiaries

Applications may be submitted by MPMI that:

1. They are incorporated, registered and active in the Commercial Register, with at least two approved balance sheets or tax returns at the date of submission.

2. They have their place of business in Lombardy on the date the facility is granted.

3. Did not export or supply intra-Community goods for more than 40 1Q3T of their total turnover in the previous calendar year

Eligible Interventions

The project must provide for a Action Plan for Internationalisation, drawn up on the basis of market research and supported by experts, with:

• Detailed description of actions and resources needed

• Timing and operational steps for entering new markets

• Marketing, communication and product adaptation activities

• Any temporary showrooms or exhibition spaces (physical or virtual)

• Implementation of remote customer support systems

The project budget must be between € 30.000 and € 600.000 and concluded within 18 months of the concession.

Eligible Expenditure

1. Management for the drafting of the Plan (max. 20 % of the costs referred to in point 2)

2. Operational activities (marketing, certifications, adaptations, showrooms, CRM, etc.).

3. Training of personnel dedicated to the project (max 10 % of the expenditure under points 1 and 2)

4. Employees involved, calculated at a flat rate of 20 % of items 1-3

5. Indirect costslump sums at 7 % of items 1-3

All activities must comply with the DNSH principle and the indications of the SEA Report.

Type of contribution:

The total budget of the call is €18.978.747,97.

• Minimum amount of the investment: €30,000.00.
• Maximum amount eligible: €600,000.00.
• Coverage up to 85% of eligible expenditure, broken down into:
  • 20% as a non-repayable grant.
  • 65% as soft loan at a fixed rate of 1.5%.
• The remaining 15% of the investment is borne by the company.

Duration of financing: between 3 and 6 yearswith a maximum grace period of 24 months.

Application procedure:

• Useful period: from 00:00 on 3 June to 23:59 on 9 September 2025

• Procedures: telematic submission via dedicated platform PR ERDF Lombardy

• Mandatory attachments: Action plan, budgets and documentation in accordance with the costs claimed.
