The indian market, in a context as complex and fractionated as the current one, is configured as that most interesting in the entire Asian landscape: it is in fact a huge country, populated by more than a billion people, and which is returning to growth at the same rate as a few years ago, thanks to the implementation of a series of reforms for foreign investors. The Indian market is not always known and analyzed by Italian entrepreneurs and much can still be done to strengthen relations of made in Italy with the Subcontinent.

For this reason, the Ca’ Foscari Challenge School (click here to find out what the Challenge School does) in Venice, a university institution that falls under the control of the prestigious Venetian university Ca’ Foscari, decided to organize a study visit in India, in collaboration with Octagona, with the aim of  Support entrepreneurs in their search for new and lasting business opportunities In this country; in this regard, Octagona, who has 15 years' experience on internationalization issues, is present in India through direct offices in New Delhi and Mumbai, and is able to support companies on a path to internationalization.

The project, aimed at entrepreneurs, export managers and managers in other functions interested in doing business in India, aims to combine aspects of a traditional business mission to a path of study visit structured: thus, the following are provided meetings with institutions and possible partners as part of a program of meetings which provides support from those who know India perfectly from an economic and socio-cultural perspective and who can best assist companies in seeking business opportunities.

The duration of the project of Ca’ Foscari Business School is to. eight full days Taking place on the following dates:

  • Travel preparation meeting at Ca’ Foscari University: one day in late October 2015;
  • study visit to India: November 15 to 22, 2015.

The stops on the India trip are:

  • Delhi (3 days)
  • Jaipur (2 days)
  • Mumbai (2 days)

Each participant may request the scheduling of specific B2B meetings with Indian companies at each of the three planned stops (Delhi, Jaipur, Mumbai): depending on specific requests, meetings will be arranged with potential partners, potential buyers, distributors or local institutions.
