As of Dec. 1, 2022, it will be possible for companies in the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region to apply for non-repayable grants for companies aimed at promoting the internationalization of business models of the regional production system and encouraging digital internationalization processes aimed at growth and affirmation in global markets through the implementation of projects directed at developing their presence in foreign markets.

Who can apply for the grant?
Eligible to apply for and benefit from grants for internationalization are companies having their place of business in the regional territory, registered in the Business Register, active and that are not in a state of dissolution or voluntary liquidation and are not subject to bankruptcy proceedings, except in the case of an arrangement with business continuity.
What are the eligible expenses?
The following initiatives are eligible:
(a) participation in fairs and exhibitions, promotion activities, marketing, intellectual property protection, management;
(b) digital internationalization.
Is there a minimum expense that my business has to incur?
The maximum grant intensity is 50 percent of eligible expenditure, unless the beneficiary has requested a lower intensity.The maximum amount of the grant that can be awarded is 100,000.00 euros. The minimum limit of eligible expenditure is 15,000.00 euros. In addition to expenses incurred after the submission of the application, expenses incurred on or after January 1 of the year preceding the year in which the application is submitted are also eligible for contribution.
In case the application is submitted by December 31, 2022, expenses incurred since January 1, 2021 will be considered eligible, while in case the application is submitted since January 1, 2023, only expenses incurred since January 1, 2022 will be considered eligible.
How should I go about submitting the application?
The questions for the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region's Internationalization Call for Proposals may be submitted to the territorially competent chamber of commerce, exclusively via PEC to the relevant address given in the Notice itself, Beginning at 10 a.m. on December 1, 2022 and ending at 4 p.m. on January 31, 2023.
The evaluation of each individual project is carried out at the appraisal stage according to the criteria in the scorecard in Annex B of Regulation 127/2022. In the case of equal scores, applications are ranked following the ascending order of requested aid intensity.
The internationalization project shall be implemented and accounted for within a maximum period of 18 months from the notification of the grant award.
