Canadian GDP is recovering rapidly and is back in positive territory in 2021 (+4.0%) with a Wide potential for growth fostered by the increasing implementation of some international agreements. Among them, the CETA (Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement) is particularly important for Italian companies as it provides for the’Abolition of most customs duties, protection of more than 140 EU Geographical Indications (including 41 Italian ones), mutual recognition of professional qualifications, liberalization of trade in services, and many other simplifications and trade facilitation.
Confindustria Ancona, in collaboration with Octagona, organizes for Tuesday, Feb. 22, starting at 3 p.m., a session of one-to-one meetings entitled Canada Day with the goal of Provide companies interested in developing their business in Canada with free initial business advice.
Among the issues that could be the subject of discussion with our consultants: market analysis and identification of the most appropriate market entry strategy in relation to one's commodity sector, search and selection of local business partners (suppliers, agents, distributors, end customers, etc.), competition analysis, TEM services, import/export procedures, etc.
The meetings, which last 45 minutes, will be held online, in Italian language.
