Emilia-Romagna region: new call for proposals to support the internationalization of SMEs

Here is the new call for internationalization from the Emilia-Romagna Region.

The Emilia-Romagna Region, with a view to supporting companies that plan to activate an internationalization process, has prepared a number of notices which provide non-repayable grants to SMEs in Emilia-Romagna.

The first among these notices, which will be published soon, Will be intended for companies planning to participate in or carry out trade fairs and promotion events abroad.

Following are the main requirements In order to apply for the grant:

• will be able to apply regularly all individual SMEs or ATIs (Temporary Business Associations, formed by at least three SMEs) having their headquarters in the Emilia-Romagna region;
• such companies Will have to participate in at least three events (including one exhibition event with international qualification) abroad as an exhibitor or organizer, to be held during 2016. An international event is defined as: B2B, company visits, forums, tastings, fashion shows, showroom exhibitions, or similar events organized by the SME or to which the SME belongs.

Specifically, the grant Towards companies will be:

• Equal to 30% of the eligible expenditure, for a total eligible cost of between 20,000 and 100,000 euros, With regard to SMEs;
• Equal to 45% of the eligible expenditure, for a total eligible cost of between 100,000 and 200,000 euros, With regard to ATIs.

It is deemed appropriate to point out that this will be a open call: therefore, it will be very important to prepare with due timing in order to submit the application as soon as possible.
