India Day with Confindustria Alto Adriatico

Confindustria Upper Adriatic, for supporting the internationalization of member companies, Thursday, June 22, 2023 from 9 a.m. organizes some individual meetings in video conference with Octagona for the Indian market. Individual meetings will be held on the Microsoft Teams platform with a duration of 45 minutes per company.

The individual meetings are aimed at learning more about the modalities, access dynamics, business opportunities and characteristics of the target markets. Octagona, after the individual meeting, Will follow up with a free, no-obligation prefeasibility analysis with respect to each company's specific product and opportunities.

India

India, with its Bursting demographic strength and a rapidly expanding domestic market, is set to take a leading role in the world economy, positioning itself as an export and investment destination as well as a base for re-exports to neighboring countries. In 2020, the effects of the pandemic led to a reduction in interchange, which amounted to just over $7.25 billion, with Italian exports to India at $3.036 billion and Indian exports to Italy at $4.236 billion.
In 2021, bilateral trade, on the other hand, recorded a record high of nearly 10.5 billion, more than 10% higher than the peak of 9.5 billion in 2019.

India's exports to Italy have reached the 6.603 billion (+55.9% over the previous year), while Italy's to India amounted to 3.884 billion (+28.3% compared to 2020), placing Italy third in the EU countries after Germany and France.
