India Desk opens at Novara Association of Industrialists in partnership with Octagona

The Novara Association of Industrialists (AIN), following the success of its dedicated desks for entrepreneurs wishing to establish business relations with foreign countries, starts negotiations with India.

Mariella Enoc, President of AIN, points out that: “The great Asian country is increasingly on the cutting edge, especially from a technological point of view. For this reason, despite many profound contradictions, it is now an unavoidable reference point from a strategic point of view and an important partner, both from a commercial point of view and as a destination for interesting prospects of industrial collaboration.”.

The India desk completes the group of countries termed “Bric,” the acronym for the four major countries of the world characterized by strong growth in gross domestic product and their trade shares-Brazil, Russia, India and China.

Business development, however, will not stop with the completion of the desks for these countries, and, the Novara facility assures that it will continue to set up thematic desks-which were a hit with the Confindustria leadership in Rome-to support and sustain business activities abroad for its entrepreneurs.

The India desk will be activated thanks to the collaboration with Octagona srl, a consulting company in international business based in Italy and India, a national reference point in services that allow companies to start or develop their internationalization process in the Indian market and SAARC area.

The India desk will have the same efficiency and counseling features already guaranteed for the other three:

  • Qualified consultancy for searches for interlocutors in the Indian market;
  • surveys on products of interest to companies;
  • Economic and business data retrieval and feasibility assessments;
  • Possible design of corporate missions;
  • arranging visits of Indian interlocutors to the company and possible assistance during their stay.

“The service,“ concludes Massimo Mairate, head of Ain's Economic and Foreign Trade area, ”also includes commercial assistance during negotiations in India and Italy, information on bureaucratic procedures related to various forms of investment in the areas of interest to the companies, and that relational, communication and bureaucratic ”problem solving' that has already proved strategic in helping to settle some disputes encountered by companies in the course of their activities in other geographical areas.".
