La Lazio Region, in order to promote the internationalization processes and competitiveness of local micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, has published a call for proposals with a budget of 5 million euros. This initiative aims to meet the needs of Lazio companies to initiate and develop activities to expand their business abroad in order to remain competitive in international markets.
The objective of the call is to encourage the participation of Lazio Region SMEs in aggregate form (at least 3 SMEs independent of each other, in the form of ATI, ATS, Enterprise Networks and possibly also in the form of formally constituted Consortia) in joint internationalization initiatives involving trade fair promotional activities, trade and industrial cooperation and support for the quality of Lazio exports.
Projects must have a minimum expenditure of 50,000 euros and the facilitation consists of a non-repayable contribution equal to 50% of the total project cost deemed eligible, up to a maximum of 250,000 euros per project, which can be raised to 350,000 euros if the aggregation submits a project proposal involving at least 25 companies.
Applications can be submitted from September 16 to October 31, 2014.
