Octagona confirms its role as leader in Italy regarding the’internationalization of enterprises in India, a market within which it has operated directly for more than a decade thanks to its own office in New Delhi. A delegation from the company, consisting of Alessandro Fichera and Vishnu Krishna, participated to the edition of Make in India Week, held in Mumbai last Feb. 13-18.

The important event was organized By the government in order to:

• promote investment By local and foreign multinationals and companies in the manufacturing sector Indian;
• facilitate meetings among entrepreneurs, investors, businesses and politicians;
• Illustrate India's potential, which is now the leading Asian destination in terms of volume and growth potential and whose role will grow further within the next decade;

Make in India Week is an initiative launched by India's prime minister, Narendra Modi, through which. entrepreneurs and companies from around the world are invited to invest, establish their manufactures and open industrial hubs in the Asian country.

Specifically, Octagona within the event met with companies local and international, dialogued with leading figures in Indian politics and business, such as Maharashtra State Industry Minister Sri Subhash Desai and Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation CEO Mr. Bhushan Gagrani, facilitating contact and relations between the business fabric and the political world.
