Precisely in order to offer a broad overview of the relationship between Italy and India, provide a range of useful information for doing business in the Subcontinent and involve our businesses in better understanding the opportunities, the Indian Embassy in Rome and Octagona organize, within the Strategic Program Access India Initiative, the Kick-off event, which will take place on Thursday, December 12, in Milan, at Circolo Filologico Milanese (Via Clerici 10, Milan) starting at 5 p.m. The strategic programAccess India Initiative (AII) promoted by the Embassy itself and for which Octagona has been designated as Knowledge Partner, intends to impart a significant acceleration to business and economic-commercial development between Italy and India and falls within the broader national Make in India program; through the December 12 event, AII will be officially launched and presented, illustrating its features, objectives and implementation methods and providing companies interested in learning more with all the useful tools and guidance needed to consider joining the project.
The event will first feature’Intervention by the Indian Ambassador to Italy, Reenat Sandhu, which will focus on the relations between Italy and India and the fundamental role played by Milan and the Lombardy Region in the context of relations between the two countries; subsequently, Shyam Chand (Second Secretary of the Indian Embassy in Rome) and Alexander Fichera (Managing Director of Octagona) will present the AII program, followed by. Varda Tanejia (Assistant vice president of Invest India), who will give their speech on the topic of promoting investment in India. The event's Keynote Speaker will be Alexander Terzulli (Chief Economist of SACE), which will focus on the current Indian scenario from an economic point of view, on how the Subcontinent is positioned in the global context today, and on the reasons and advantages why companies should consider the investment opportunities present.
This will be followed by the holding of the Round Table, which will be moderated by Gianluca Di Donfrancesco (journalist of the Sole24Oreand that will see a Comparison between entrepreneurs and managers working with IndiaDuring the debate, their experiences, opinions, and success stories will be highlighted in relation to the local market, its characteristics, and its business dynamics.
