Sell abroad with the call launched by Unioncamere and Regione Emilia-Romagna!

Is your company ready for foreign markets, but you need financial support to launch the right project? Regional call launched by Unioncamere Emilia-Romagna and from the Emilia-Romagna Region for the internationalization of local SMEs, with grant funding, and a expert support by Octagona I am the one for you!

As of dFebruary 4 through March 18, 2019, companies will be able to apply to obtain funding for projects in foreign markets provided for within the same call, which finances the SME export activities; companies will be allowed to submit only one project, aimed at support in international markets (for a maximum of two countries), Making use of external consulting services. All i progects will have to conclude by December 31, 2019.

Following are the features of the notice:

Amount of contribution

I funds made available by Unioncamere Emilia-Romagna and Regione Emilia-Romagna amount to.  almost 900.000 : the beneficiary companies will be able to obtain a grant equal to 50% of eligible expenses. The minimum contribution equals a 3.000 €  (in view of total expenses amounting to €6,000), while the The maximum contribution will be €20,000 (given total expenses of €40,000).

Beneficiaries

The intervention is aimed at Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises having registered office and/or operational at Emilia Romagna, with a turnover minimum by 300.000 €Specifically, the call is aimed at:

  • non-exporting companies or non-habitual exporters (i.e., those that generated less than 20% of their total revenue from direct sales abroad during the 2016–2017 period);
  • regular exporting enterprises (i.e., companies that generated more than 20% of their total revenue from direct sales abroad during the 2016–2017 period). 

Type of activities to implement

The first mandatory and binding activity of all projects it is the’Analysis of the company's capabilities and potential to tackle internationalization, approach new markets or consolidate existing ones (Assessment).

Projects should then include at least the following one of the following activities:

  • strengthening of promotional tools and marketing in foreign languages;
  • trademark protection of the company;
  • obtaining the product certifications necessary for export;
  • TEM (Temporary Export Manager) and/or TMM (Temporary Marketing Manager);
  • attendance at maximum two fairs International;
  • realization of one or more events abroad, for commercial purposes;
  • personalized meetings With foreign operators.
