Want to sell abroad? New vouchers for internationalization coming soon

Great news for businesses looking to grow their business by selling abroad: the Ministry of Economic Development has officially launched the 2017 Internationalization Voucher call for applications, now in its second year, which makes available non-repayable grants, in the form of a voucher, precisely with the aim of supporting internationalization processes of Italian SMEs. Again, thanks to this funding, companies will be able to make use of a Temporary Export Manager for their own business development. SMEs that intend to apply For vouchers they will be able to start filling out online as of November 21, while the opening of the counter is scheduled from 10:00 AM November 28, 2017.

The new announcement includes. important news compared to the 2015 edition: overall the financial endowment amounts to 20 million euros + 18 million euros to be allocated exclusively to the Regions Basilicata, Campania, Calabria, Apulia and Sicily.

In addition, the facilities granted are divided into. Two different types of vouchers.

– voucher “early stage” amounting to a total of 13,000 Euros (of which 10,000 Euros are from the State and 3,000 from the company, exactly as in the first edition) for semester-long projects. Companies that have already benefited from the first edition of the voucher can also apply.In this case, however, the allocation provided by the State is 8,000 Euros, so these companies must pay the remaining 5,000.;

– voucher “advanced stage” amounting to a total of 25,000 Euros (of which 15,000 Euros from the State and 10,000 from the company) for annual projects. This voucher is intended for companies that already export but they must study specific internationalization strategies; for these beneficiaries, there is a possibility to increase the contribution amount by an additional 15,000 Euros, in light of the realization of an internationalization project with immediate repercussions on foreign sales volumes.
