This is great news for companies that want to grow their business by selling abroad: the Ministry of Economic Development Has officially launched the 2017 Voucher for Internationalization call for proposals., now in its second year, which makes available non-repayable grants, in the form of vouchers, precisely with the aim of supporting internationalization processes of Italian SMEs. Again, thanks to this funding, companies will be able to make use of a Temporary Export Manager for their own business development. SMEs that intend to apply For vouchers they will be able to start filling out online as of November 21, while the opening of the counter is scheduled from 10 a.m. on November 28, 2017.
The new announcement includes. important news compared with the 2015 edition: overall the financial endowment amounts to 20 million euros + 18 million euros to be allocated exclusively to the Regions Basilicata, Campania, Calabria, Apulia and Sicily.
In addition, the facilities granted are divided into. Two different types of vouchers.
- “Early stage” vouchers amounting to 13,000 euros in total (including 10,000 euros from the state and 3,000 from the company, exactly as in the first edition) for six-month projects. Enterprises that have already benefited from the first edition of the voucher can also apply: In this case, however, the allocation provided by the state is 8,000 euros, so these companies must pay the remaining 5,000;
- “advanced internship” voucher amounting to 25,000 euros in total (including 15,000 from the state and 10,000 from the company) for annual projects. This voucher is intended for enterprises that already export but must study specific internationalization strategies; for such beneficiaries there is the Possibility of increasing the contribution amount by an additional 15,000 euros, against the implementation of an internationalization project with immediate effects on overseas marketing volumes.
